Jason Bowman began the journey of yoga while studying audio engineering at the University of Colorado in Denver. Always drawn to the meeting point between art and technology, yoga was an intuitive avenue to explore their union. His practice and teaching have been greatly influenced by the simplicity and rigor of Ashtanga Yoga and he has found much inspiration in recent years through study with Richard Freeman and Maty Ezraty. He completed Freeman’s Teacher Intensive in 2010 and 2011, Ezraty’s in 2011 and teaches throughout his hometown of Boulder, Colorado. Jason’s classes encourage a personal examination of the space between theory and direct experience and his love for the practice shines through in his ability to teach with a concrete yet creative voice. Jason has a knack for breaking down poses with a keen eye for detail and his classes strive to create a light-hearted environment of no-frills inquiry.
